For the first 10, read down below.  The second 10 are as follows:
1.  Phoenix, Arizona AZ

Tuesday, November 1st!
If you make a 95 or better, you are done with states and capitals for 4th grade.  If you do not score a 95 or better, you will be required to take the test over the next 10 on December 1, 2011.

Reminders!!!

Reading logs and agendas are now checked on Fridays! 
You must read 100 minutes per week and complete one hour a week in math facts.  A parent signature is required.

Learning the 50 states and capitals!

We will be learning the states and capitals 10 at a time.  Our first test will be Thursday, 10/13.  You will be given a list of 10 state names.  You will need to be able to locate them on a map, write their postal code, and their capital.  Here are the first 10:
Texas, TX, Austin
New Mexico, NM, Santa Fe
Oklahoma, OK, Oklahoma City
Arkansas, AR, Little Rock
Louisiana, LA, Baton Rouge
Florida, FL, Tallahassee
California, CA, Sacramento
